The PS8803 addresses high-speed signal switching and signal integrity requirements for the implementation of a USB Type-C ® (or USB-C ® ) connector on a USB host or device that supports USB 3.1 transport data rates up to 10Gbit/sec (Gen 2). To compensate for PCB signal loss and other signal distortion, the PS8803 includes a signal retiming function.
